The 2019 FRC game, Deep Space, was a space exploration-themed challenge where robots scored points by placing hatch panels and cargo in cargo ships and rocket ships. Teams worked to seal rockets with hatch panels and score cargo in various locations. In the endgame, robots earned additional points by climbing onto Habitat platforms, with higher levels awarding more points. Success required a balance of scoring and defense, as well as teamwork to efficiently place panels, score cargo, and climb during the final seconds of the match.
